Electrics playing up

Afternoon all, Just got in from work and the wife has been out in the truck this morning, and told me that on the way home she had a total electrical failure ie, no speedo indicators nothing but the truck is running fine. She went over a bump and it all came back on again this happened 3 or 4 times. I just went to start it and it went first time everything working:nenau.
I was wondering could it be the ignition switch I'm a bit baffled.

don't know much about the latter models but from what I read bad connections on the instrument cluster, sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon, Rick

Upon further investigations I think the cluster has a fault, common I know probably a dry joint:nenau Anyone had one repaired?

Ignition switch is dead common, one of the first things I replaced

Also check battery leads, particularly earth lead and it's connections either end
