Electric fan questions

hi all,
Next little project for truck,
16'' electric fan.
looked at Makeitfits pics of twin setup but dont really think i need one that good.
or do I??

does anyone know what engine runs at temp wise
and what do you think fan operating temp should be?
thinking around 98 to 92 degs...........
also seen top hose adaptors for fan switch on ebay but al are 1/8NPT
and not seen any switchs that thread.

you can put the electric fan else where... maybe to better efect

I fitted two pusher fans in front of the rad and simply stuck them on with sikaflex 221, very easy job on a 3.0 tdi. It was to cool the air con rad at tickover.

thermostat should open at 82 degrees , so id be expecting the fan to come on around then .

i have some twin fans apparently for a t2 in the shed . but not got around to fitting them yet so will watch this thread with interest

Mine is set to come on at 88 deg's and go off at 82.

If you do any towing up hills you'll need two good elec fans.
