Weather looks to be a bit better than the rubbish we're seeing at the moment. Can someone tell the weather gods that is bloody April!!
 
It's a tad chilly up on the campsite this time of year.
Last easter we all ended up sat in my tent with the heater on:thumb2
 
Not risking sub zero sleeping arrangements this time. Bringing my caravan:naughty
 
A week to go and I've still not got an MOT on the truck, I'll explain what's been going on at the meet as there's certainly been lots going on at home to be dealing with meaning I haven't been able to work on the truck as much as I'd have wanted to.

We've been dealing with a massive spate of burglaries on the new estate that we've been at now for 12 months. In the past 2-3 months we've accumulated 15ish crime reference numbers as an estate and we're now the 2nd most burgled post code in the West Midlands at the moment.

It's become that much of an epidemic that I've started a WhatsApp group for our estate which currently has 46 houses connected of the 200 or so that have been built so far, additionally to that we also have our own private radio network using Baofeng UV-5R UHF radios. I'm going to start another thread as I've got some real stories to share!!!!!

I'll certainly keep all that come camping entertained around the fire.

Whatever happens, I'll be there, whether I'm in my own truck or using the misses Fiesta again and playing "Gate Gibbon" once more :lol :doh

I'm sure there will be a seat free in one of the trucks between lanes?
 
Hi guys, really don’t think I’ll be fit enough to camp with you all which is a real pain. Just trying to work out if there would be anyway that we could meet up at all.

Are you planning laning in the day Sat n Sun yob on field Fri n Sat evenings.

Just working out my shifts see if can pop in to say hi.

Can’t really green lane as the rough ride wouldn’t be good. Had thought about popping in to meet up but not too sure at the moment. Problem is I want to meet up but not too sure if I’m writing cheques my body can’t cash if you know what I mean.
 
We'll be heading down Tomorrow mid morning!

Jim, you take it easy... Don't over do it! All though it will be great to see you, there will be plenty more meets in the future!
 
As per the "smoke" thread, "Roger1951" has booked up for the weekend away and will be staying with us Friday and Saturday nights by the looks of it :cool:
 
That's work finished (unless the MD rings), and it's still finished.
Zac, you'll have to bring whatever you have for Memory Map for me to upload on to my wee computer for the routes.
Packing in the morning and setting off around lunchtime and expecting to arrive late afternoon. Should be putting the tent up between 4:00 and 4:01. :)
 
If you have an android device with gps you can download the memory map app for free.
You can also get a seven day free trail of the OS maps which you can upload the gpx files into to use:thumb2

That's work wrapped up for me now too this week, MOT in the morn at 10:30, from there I'll know what I'm coming in.

Banshee loves a last minute mission!!!!
 
Work done for me too. Truck and 'van ready for a 10am start in the morning.
