I have been kicking around the house for the past week as I have been off work with a recurring back problem. So I have had time to mess about with ECUTalk.
I did a sheet on how to read logs early in the week, I have now done a how to get started guide. you can look at it by clicking the link bellow.
I have used some pictures from previous threads so if anyone is not happy with this let me know and I will remove them.
Any input or suggestions greatly appreciated and maybe we can get a final version as a download, John

Something's gone wrong in making the file public, I can't see it either.

Arrrrr, it may be that to view you need to be signed up to drop box, I don't know I have just started using it. It was the only way to put larger files on here.I will have to see if there is some way of making them public, cheers Rick, John

Thank you John, excellent, have a printed copy, will be handy when I get time to look a Harlowmavs motor as he has the 16 pin connector but have not looked to see if he has pin 7 as yet, Rick

Great,Glad it worked for you, I am working on a readings sheet, giving all the values and conditions for all The ECU readings should have it finished tomorrow although some of the the answers are harder to fined than others

As promised Results comparison sheet for ECUTalk .As we know ECUTalk is meant for all Nissans with consult 1 therefor not all readings a relevant. there is no readings for cooling fan and I think this is meant for cars with electric cooling fan.I cant fined a value for Glow RLY if any one can help with this, cheers John:thumbs
