'ello again!

well, mi Mav is STILL off the road. got the starter out at the weekend and have taken it apart. It is dirty, but I have no point of comparison so will spray it and clean it and re test. Anyway, I am pretty sure my non starting problem has other issues, so I changed the main positive battery cable, and clamp. I noticed that one of what Ipresume is an earth cabel is a kin of copper blue at the end where it attaches to the engine (comes from negative battery side or chassis) could this cause a starting issue, or running issue? if it IS an earth cable, should I just replace them all? I notice two smaller ones furthur on, screw into the same hole on the engine (above the starter motor), but there are two holes (same on the side with the larger cable, two cables screwed into one hole) is this right? anyone got any pics of that area on thier engine?

am feeling really sad right now about mi mav, i aint had it long, and paid £1000 for it, it was great at first, but then just gave up on me, i really wanna fix it, but need your sage advise!! i want to go off roadin!!

you could always try it by putting a jump lead straight from the neg terminal to the engine

not sure I know what you mean, I am kinda learning mechanics right now, so this side of things is a bit new! The starter is out now anyway, so might as well steam roll ahead with new earth cables, and starter and I have already got a new positive.
