hi as my 98 t 2 got an e.g.r valve or not?

Probably not mont, but one way to find out is to locate the operating solenoids, these will be just below and to the rear of the air filter, they will have wires and a vacuum hose going to each of them, if you have three of these puppy’s then you have EGR if there is only one then you do not.
