my friends wanted a dvr cam like I got , so I ordered 2 more ..... got a letter from the post office saying I have to pay £17.04 in import charges !!!....wtf ??? .... that's half the freaking price of 1 camera ffs ....one is not best pleased :(

Duty is 20% of the landed value, so that includes postage. There may also be VAT to pay . You may also have been charged extra postage.
Technically Rustic is wrong, but in reality will get away with it.

My Son got stung with postage a VAT a few years ago when he ordered a new set of disc brakes for his mountain bike & worked out not being such a good deal in the end:doh

If we ever leave the EU anything imported from Europe will be subject to import duty and vat

If we ever leave the EU anything imported from Europe will be subject to import duty and vat

and with that, we should see an increase in British goods again, including manufacturing and electronics. Be interesting would that...

Has anyone else got anymore choices of dvr camera, is there any that cover the rear or do you have to buy two seperate units.

Wonder if theyre the latest gadget to start getting nicked out of cars?

Did it wire up easy? And does it work well?

If Jim doesent take it can I have second dibs?

Lastly u got any vids? :thumb2

it just plugs into a dc socket ( ciggie lighter socket ) the lead is supplied , you need to buy a micro sd card for it though , as for videos ...... look at my past ones :thumb2 , to be honest it would be cheaper you buying one from the link rather than me posting my spare
