That'll take some chopping up of the dash as it's a double din unit the factory unit is only single din with a din & a half front plate:augie For that sort of money you could get a much better stereo without the satnav

Friend of mine just pointed me to it as we'd been discussing the crap OE fascia. Hadn't seen it before so decided to run it by the forum for opinion :thumb2

If you were to go down that route, the patrol ones are better and cheaper :D

Trouble is, the rest of the Patrol to go around it costs more!

Looking to fit a standard single din radio to my new T2 and of course it needs a panel making up, or the 'pukka' thing that Nissan did - don't want to make a tit of the truck by creating a hideous filler panel, but equally, don't want to spend silly money for the real one.

Anyone got a facsia panel going spare for beer tokens?

Seems to me to be a bit of a half-assed design, to be honest. Not sure if the 'cassette player' actually works or not either, not that I have any cassette to put in it. And it certainly doesn't lend itself to fitting an aftermarket stereo unit. Bit shit, all thing's considered :nenau

I believe that later models were fitted with a standard DIN stereo and the fascia plate instead of the custom cassette player - I have the CD changer under my seat, so it's not all bad, but I also have a Chinese crap single din stereo with a wee screen on that I used to have connected to a rear view camera that was a nice wee touch.
