drivers door window thingie

OK well tried the old relay I took off another T2 that was not working, on my T2 this am and it works just fine, I can only assume the contacts were dirty as I have done nothing else with it other than check for dry joints and that the contacts were in good order, pic of the unit for completeness, and just to add this relay only controls the drivers door as it has the auto function, Rick

Went and fitted new relay box and lo and behold was clicking also then attempted to get mechanism out and discovered the motor for the window was hot to touch . So i struck it a couple of times with a screw driver as you do with a sticky starter motor and low and behold it is now working. Then put original box back in and window still working so £30 down the drain unless you still looking for relay box

I did the same with rrelay box and hey ho off we go window works great, also had air con re gassed and now want window to pack in again cos its too cold KEV.
