i noticed the door is not in-line with the back door, how can i lift it back up it's about 1/2 of a inch of a drop. i have noticed a shaking of the door on the back roads which gets annoying in the ear lol.

much appreciated.

my drivers door droped, and it was the lower hinge pin badly worn, i bought another one from jimmy, or if the hinge is loose try loosening the bolts and carefully lift the door back into line and retighten bolts.:thumb2

thx tezzer i have another look tomorrow as i could not see at a glance today how to get spanners to the hinge

i used 3/8" drive socket to get to one hinge bolt when door was open, and a spanner on the other, you may need another pair of hands mate, it make life a bit easier,:doh

tezzer i played around with it today and it's the same as yours "the lower hinge pin" with a wee bit of play, i did not think that a little play in it would drop it so much, now my question is this a pain to do and do i need a special tool for the hinge's ?.

hi mark, over the lenth of the door it is enough to put it out of line, once you have a replacement hinge, (ask jimmy92) you will need someone to help, i think the bolts are 12mm, i used a 3/8 drive socket set, have helper to hold the door while you loosen the bolts into door, carefully move door out of the way and remove the bolts into pillar, remove hinge and fit new hinge in reverse order, it sound daunting but it's fairly straight forward really, once fitted you will have to adjust door using the bolts you have removed, you might have to adjust the striker plate to aid closing. any problems give me a shout. :thumbs
