Apparently there is huge television coverage of 22 over paid drama queens chasing an air filled bag of leather around a field and people are actually watching it and cheering :nenau

I think I might have missed something :lol

Watching, but not cheering at the moment.

:clap Very good point very well put I have no interest in football however I don't think they are over paid, surely they are only paid as much as the market will stand. As an example I wouldn't be very good at chasing the leather bag around nor would I be any good at falling over pretending that you kicked me in the leg therefore no one is going to pay to watch me so I would be unable to command any pay at all.

Hear hear !!!!
not a big fan of football myself but i do watch the euro's and world cup.
get behind your country and hold you head high:thumb2:thumb2

I'm behind MY country in lots of ways. I try to buy British where ever possible. It's a shame many others don't with their 18 plate German vehicles
Just because I don't support poofball in any way doesn't make me a cosmopolitan :thumb2

Being controversial with a bit of humour we are driving Japanese cars built in Spain but for the most of them the Japanese company was owned by a French company. :lol:lol
I’ve also got a car that was built in Czech Republic by a German owned company.

Incidentally I fill both cars with fuel made from oil from almost any country in the world.

This makes us all cosmopolitan doesn’t it :lol

And I’m still happy to have gone out for a walk in the middle of nowhere to escape that blinking football match :lol

I've had Spanish, Argentinian and Peruvian girlfriends, even the odd English thrown in. Not sure if that makes me cosmopolitan, but I'm definitely not fussy.

Don Simon, I take my humble hat off to you. You are indeed cosmopolitan :lol
Tho some may just say plain lucky :lol

Best not take this conversation any further in this direction :doh
