im needing to fix the exhaust on my terrano as the mot is aproaching:eek: i want to do the welded downpipe mod but need help, can someone tell me in steps what to do to it as i want to do it, pics would be nice:)

Mine's on a steel flange but the rest is stainless. You can see the effect heat :sly

yeah, i just want more power:naughty and a nice noise to get the women:sly

Ah I c so u will need a turbo flange and some 2.5" stainless steel right angle bend and some straight tube:thumbs

i might get my spare downpipe modified, that way in theory, i wont need to make the flange:nenau
 
Ebay 14 but make sure it's the right stud pattern right size:thumbs

cheers, i printed petes pics off and written the things down i need:D my birthday is coming up in a few days so i have an excuse to buy something:lol:lol
 
i think the td and tdi turbo outlets are the same, i would think the 3.0 will be different tho

Yes but make sure It will fit i will take pic of my turbo flange (easy makeitfit I used the word flange :lol)2morrow when I get home just pm me ur email or mob no. And I will send it there:thumbs
 
This is where the magic happens

and the most tricky, there's two pieces grafted together here.
The idea is to get as much space/volume behind the turbo, and so as little back pressure as possible. FLOW is good. Trouble is there's not a whole lot of space off the back of the turbo to the bulkhead, especially when you allow for engine shake etc.
