door mirror upgrade

I have never been happy with the standard view from the door mirrors on the Terrano so want to upgrade to something that will give a better view.
Anyone fitted anything to do just that:nenau:nenau

Are the existing mirror glasses plain or convex ?
Convex mirror glasses make a huge difference.

They are convex but with the body and suspension lift i find i'm unable to see the kerb if i have them set to see behind so i have to mess about with them when parking.

I think vw caddy ones would look good but maybe better with ones off a taller van, I'll have a look around work next week when I go back, see if there are any large vans or small trucks for inspiration :thumbs

Been looking at different van mirrors on ebay but have yet to find any that look like they would suit the terrano.

only noticed lack of view with fat caravan on back, even with tow mirrors not as good
as would like.

what about the wide view bubble mirrors can stick on, usually on top face but could
try to sides or bottom, don't mean ones that go on existing glass. but beyond
existing casings.

i stuck on domed extra view mirrors on the lower outer corner of glass,and they make a big differance
