i went today. some really nice kit on display there. dadba, i did come and have a look at your car, youve got some nice kit on yours. i was going to say hello, but it was quite late in the day and you looked tired. and yes that vitara next to yours with the toyota live axle conversion was really nice, so was that chevy blazer with the supercharged v8 engine  i also had a good look at that terrano parked out front. it had an ome lift, ome shocks and an asfir underbody bash plate, which i got some pics of because i fancy one myself

i see tbr have listed some new lift kits not sure for which models though

i was near the exhaust on the chevy when he started up after lunch time, i watched as everyone backed up when he revved the engine  . actually i think i missed the long way down patrol knowing me i probably walked past it loads of times  i also didnt see the hilux's used in the top gear north pole challenge which was a shame.

one thing i did look at on your car was the bumper/wing protection/tree sliders. did you buy the tree sliders or have them made up? i fancy have some made for my mav in the future so it was nice looking at other cars with designs of them.

I missed the hi lux too then  The sliders were put on at the same time as the bull bar in 2004 at frogs. You can use the hi lift jack on any part of the bars as long as you can keep the jack off the body. They are very strong but I would like to have some go around to the rear also. :?

i didnt notice whether you had a heavy duty rear bumper, but if you hvent, you could do what that pajero at the end had done: heavy duty bumper with twin tyre carriers. you could then run two bars along the sides of your patrol and then down onto the tree sliders like the front, i know that what i would do

Yeh liked the look of that set up and same on the long way down truk too. Just money and time mate.
