On a patch of snow that was slippier than the previous 5 miles.

I came out of a junction and spun halfway around - the car hit a wall almost square on at about 5 - 10 mph :(

I need a new front grill - If anyone has one please let me know.

It would appear that the front crossmember that the bumper is attached to has been pushed back around 2". This has forced the front bumper down an inch too.

I hoping that when I remove the bumper it will be a simple straighten up the cross member, re-attach the bumper and grill and job done.

:doh

sorry to hear that, yes these trucks can slide, and i am sure someone will be along and offer a grill, there always some one breaking one, good luck, try asking makefit or cncfabs

Sorry mine's to old to suit
You'll probably find it's just the bumper's under skirt that's bent. It's a steel subframe thing that bolts into the chassis.
Good luck :thumbs

I have a search on-going with Ebay.

I returned to the scene of the incident this morning and found two pieces of grille, I now have 4 pieces and it looks like this completes the jigsaw.

This afternoon I will attempt to glue it all back together until i can get a replacement.

I was going to use superglue, any suggestions as to a better type?

It'll just snap again. If you've got a soldering iron, "stitch" it together as best you can, then fibreglass over the joins at the back. Been "fixing" motorcycle panels like that for years.

Fibre glass will be better and give some flexing to it. Its a bit thin for even industrial super glue. David.

sorry to hear of your problems. I have used a hot glue gun and high temp glue sticks for this kind of thing. It is a great temporary fix -- better in the longer term is the stitching with a solder iron and fiberglass.

long wait to find one on ebay i been looking for a year and a tad.

There is a proper superglue for plastics, use that and then fibreglass the back of ot all :D

Just to clarify, The grille was was not completely broken into pieces, only the bit underneathe the badge was broken.
I took off the grill glued back the four pieces and put it back on.

You cant actually tell if you are more than 4 feet away that there is any damage to it.

THe front crossmember that the bumper and lower bumper valence clips to is pushed back 2" and will need straightening at some point.

I'm moving house in a couple of weeks and will be too busy to fix it, but wait until the summer and I'll strip the front end down and fix it then.

I'll use my 2 tonne hand wincher to stretch it back out and the job should be a good un.
