Has anyone seen those metal bars that you can lock between the tailgate lock and the striker. It basically locks the tailgate part way open to allow ventilation with some security for dogs in the back of the cars.

no but I will be making something similar for next summer, trouble is one of my Jacks is quite small and like a rat she will squeeze through any gap so may have to go the route of a cage, Rick
