No not a Tina Turner song,

STOP HUMMING THE TUNE ....:doh

Here is a link that could help with condensation in your car...

Problem is...
trying to find a pair of socks without holes in lol...:lol

CAUTION:-
However, I would have thought that after time the liquid absorbed by the crystals will become saturated, and if the silica crystals are like moisture absorption crystals you buy for those tubs, then the liquid might be slightly caustic, so experiment first and take appropriate precautions.

If it all goes wrong, you could damage the carpets, or even the paint and thus body of the car.

Old socks we don't have any of them as the dog loves to rip them up:lol

Video advert for cat litter ?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm all looks too good to be true I wonder how long a sock refill lasts ?

my dad used to do this in his old vw clipper van about 30 years ago.

Got to say on a serious note if a car is steaming up often there's a reason for it. Either a water leak causing wet carpets or less serious not using ventilation correctly. My older Terrano steams up easily now the AC doesn't work. If I balance sunroof on tilt or crack window or windows slightly open to cause some air flow.

As Jim says if you are steaming up then you have a moisture problem in the car, might take some investigating but it needs doing, Rick

Or move to Spain - a bit of 24 degree sunshine soon disperses the condensation!

Anyone got any tips on how to stop the local cats pissing on my dashboard?

Sock treatment with cat litter

Well had the windscreen freezing on the inside on start up over the cold snap - plus the usual condensation freezing when the aircon trips in no water ingress issues.

Have filled an old wellington sock and tried it over the last few days and whilst it has not stopped moisture on the inside completely it has reduced substantially. Hard to put a real figure on it but its in the 75% less region so far.

Now its just light condensation that clears with the blower after a couple of minutes rather than a ice scraper needed on the inside as before!
