Just a couple of other pointers...I added a bit of rubber strip to the bottom of the bar fixing plates (glued it on) to protect me paintwork. If I take the bars off I have a couple of little plastic caps (came off some condiment bottle...but can't remember what) that fit over the edge of the rivnuts...this prevents any chance of water ingress through the holes.
