Different mixer with veg oil

So basically after a bit of thought I was thinking of something that could do the job of thinning the veg oil slightly but not clean the internals like petrol does, something oil based? Turpentine seems good but far too costly??

Any suggestions oil based?

plain old dino diesel, i mix it with mine and never had a problem

diesels will run on most things, but the pump wont, not for very long anyway. when it gets uber cold just put more diesel in. mixing in petrol is fine aslong as it is mixed,all of it, not just a really thin area of mixed fuel and an area of undiluted veg oil. i am sure i read somewhere that mixing in other accelerates could be classed as tax evasion?

diesels were originally made to run on peanut oil so stickin a bit of veg oil through them wont do no harm :lol

the pump is the weak spot, if it will burn then the diesel will run..

I agree with both, as mentioned in other post, someone suffered a leak when on pure veg oil from pump, I guess too thick a mix was being forced through, too much pressure :nenau

Haha that'll be me but I aint giving up on the veggie so when the old girl is back on the road I will be looking to find the right mix of veg/? so as not to suffer the same again:doh
