My first terrano and loving it one question how do I put it in diff lock or is it automatic when I go into 4high and 4low

the terrano doesn't have a diff lock, its lsd at the back and an open diff at the front, you can buy one for the front called a lokka but unless going really extreme off roading you wont really need one

Have got many places in just 2WD thanks to the LSD in the rear where LR's have had to use the centre diff lock:lol

the terrano (or little datsun as i've been called by some mitsi owners :lol ) is a very under rated truck

I pulled a Transit van with a caravan attached off our field on Tuesday, didn't need 4 wheel drive either.:thumb2

It was a MK5 rear wheel drive Transit, absolute pants off road!:lol

I think he means a centre diff lock, which many 4x4s have. :nenau

The terrano has no centre differential, so when in 4 wheel drive it acts like a centre diff lock thats always on.

Thats why it's not a good idea to run in 4 wheel drive on tarmac.
