hi guys does anyone know if the diesel tank from the mistral will fit the maverick?

As long as it's the wheel base I'd say yes :thumb2 as all the chassis are the same R20 based.

how difficult can it be to get a flamin fuel tank spent two solid days looking found two perspectives. just waiting verification that they arnt leaking

finally got one off a mistral from oldbury bloke has a mistral got plenty parts for that and a mavvy that further stripped in the back of a workshop......now just gotta fit the tank job for next week i think......

pmsl it depends on soft or hard the bit i need to work out is how to get to the pipe an how to seal the sender unit as new tank didnt come with one. oh and mines five bolts snapped one two weeks ago lol

Just undo the whole thing including pipe. it just pushes out of the filler, after undoing the filler pipe bolt first(forgot about that one, so it's still 6 ).
Reseal the sender with some gunkystickystuff probably bought from the motor factors down the road :augie
