Diesel Economical Conversions

Petrol can have LPG Conversions...

Diesel can't...

But...

Can we have Propane Conversions.?

BUT it's not as petrol a cost saver, it's a power bolt on for deisel:naughty
It should help burn all the deisel charge for more torque etc and could be argued to save a bit of bucks:augie

What i meant was can it run on/along side diesel like Petrol & LPG :doh

it has to go in with the air and ignite when diesel ignites:nenau

unless you put a new head on like they are doing on london cabs

Col, thats to convert the Nissan 2.7 diesel engine from compression to spark ignition, so it can run on petrol and/or LPG...

exactly but gas wont fire without spark plugs or similar , unless you shove it in the air on a diesel , but that will only give bigger bang and cant run on gas alone

Adding LPG to a diesel should help fuel economy, as you shouldn’t need so much right boot, but weighing up the cost of installation and gas, you wouldn’t see a huge saving.

Does the car need a brain aka ECU . . .
Because my Mav for example can't have a plug 'n' play "Tunit"
Is it the same with regards of adding the likes of LPG etc

Tank is new old stock never fitted, evap. only on a few days as it was the wrong one for that job, solenoids new.:thumbs
The tank is small enough to go under the driver side of the car, but mine is inside for safer "makeitfit" driving activities:augie
I'm running stripped out inside at the mo:sly
Till the cage goes in anyway.
LPG tank full should do about 3 diesel tank fulls:thumbs

You can but liquid oxygen is awful dangerous to have about - so instead they use NO2 - Nitrous Oxide.
