Hi all, I'm thinking of getting one of these units for my mav, and am wondering if anyone has one fitted and what they think of it? Also do we get a discount from them? The unit is the BOBBOX VP37.

With regards the discount i know he has a link to our site on his, But to be honest im not sure about the discount.
Best way maybe to tell him your a member and ask for your 10% if it still applies and see what the reply is.

Hope this is of some help.

I know Shark1e was going to visit him a while ago and talk more about the clubs discount then.

I've got a message back from Bob asking for a picture of the injection pump, does anyone know why? Also where is the injection pump so that I can take a picture for him?

Before I got powerbox I was going to get a unit from bob and he was going to give me a club discount. That was over a year ago so thing might have changed.

hi fellow sheffielder!

is it down to on tdi's of our age that some are hitachi whilst newer ones are bosch??

my 96 twin round headlight tdi is a hitachi btw, which makes some of these power upgrades not possible.

I got my reply from Bob this morning. Here it is:

Hi,

You have a Diesel Kiki injection pump.

Not the best candidate for a power upgrade.

In saying that the BOBBOX VP37 does increase the bhp/torque by up to 20%.

The unit is spliced to fit, not plug in.
