only got 4 liters out :eek:

7 nice new clean liters back in and the engine sounds alot better for some reason :lol :lol :lol
 
Old filter wasnt on tight enough so had leaked out
 
Look at the mess you made now get that drive etc cleaned up:augie:lol
 
erm thats the road and them spots of oil were already there honest :augie :lol

wish it was outside our house, we have to park round the bloody corner its all double yellowed round here and aint got a driveway
 
Had you not noticed the oil was not on your dipstick? Rick
 
When I check mine I do it about 3 times as i've noticed you can get false readings sometimes as the dipstick rubs against the tube taking a bit of oil off it:doh

Yeah I hate the bastard dipstick on my terrano, I'd give anything to swap it for a sight glass :rolleyes:

Mine sounds a lot more "tappety" since I've done an oil change, I did use a different grade though, was a lot quieter when I was using 10 40 Mineral
 
never needed one.pair of rubber gloves,grip it as hard as you can and twist.
if that fails stick a screwdriver through it.
just make sure you have got the right one if you do that:lol:lol:lol
made my own filter wrench from a bit of cargo strap and old screwdriver,never let me down and cost me nowt:thumbs

I must be a posh boy :lol

I've got a special oil filter strap

that's what I put in mine,it don't like that stuff from milners makes mine noisey.
