Had you not noticed the oil was not on your dipstick? Rick
there was still oil on the dipstick, it was very close to minimum but was still there :lol
well min to max is only 1 ltr so something is not right, Rick
When I check mine I do it about 3 times as i've noticed you can get false readings sometimes as the dipstick rubs against the tube taking a bit of oil off it:doh
You need a longer dipstick:lolthere was still oil on the dipstick, it was very close to minimum but was still there :lol
7 nice new clean liters back in and the engine sounds alot better for some reason :lol :lol :lol
never needed one.pair of rubber gloves, grip it as hard as you can and twist.
if that fails stick a screwdriver through it.
just make sure you have got the right one if you do that:lol:lol:lol
made my own filter wrench from a bit of cargo strap and old screwdriver, never let me down and cost me nowt:thumbs
Mine sounds a lot more "tappety" since I've done an oil change, I did use a different grade though, was a lot quieter when I was using 10 40 Mineral
