Hi guys, especially diagnostics gurus :D
My son is in the market for an AUTEL Maxisys MS908
Prices from our local motor factors are £3k near as damn it, ebay about £1450 ?
I'm wondering if anyone has any supplier recommendations or pointers for this imminent purchase.
Many thanks :thumbs

When I want bigger purchases from my Auto factors, I tell them the price on Ebay, and they will usually get down to a lot closer to it. Some times they are better, but even when they still end up being a few quid more, I like the fact that they get it in, so no delivery worries/costs, you have someone local should you have any problems, and of course you are supporting local business.

Might be worth a try.

Normally, I'd be right on it as you suggest. The problem here is the Autel is only sold via authoritised dealers.
I've since found out all the ebay ones are generic Chinese copies . Basically buy one and have no back up 😑 Not good if your client's Mercedes throws a hissy fit and locks up the ECU
Onwards 😎

I think for what it is worth Pete, that your lad needs to purchase the real deal if he is going to work on customers motors, as you say if diagnostics are flawed and it causes big problems with an expensive motor, not good for trade and reputation, Rick

Exactly our thoughts Rick.
I'll get a deal somewhere 😃
