Hmm that simple the newer models for example tdv6 55 plate is a ford engine :lol
Older ones are petty good apart from a few weak points
Half shafts being one and boot floors in the disco
I think if I ever bought one it would have to be a defender 200 tdi
Had a look at a rangey bobtail but ermmm im gonna give it a miss

believe originally LR said auto couldnt be done on 90 with out making wheel base longer
due to length of boxes, but they mastered it when introduced north american spec version
with 4.0 v8 to go up against the then current jeep.

He actually sold it then. He only payed like £3000 for it. He got lucky with that.
