Well as a high user of this stuff "water" I have either to try and collect rain water, then filter it, or buy it at "£2.40 for 5 ltrs as at this time of the year I can use 5 ltrs every 2 weeks it is a significant cost on our energy system, so well pleased I am that I have just found a supplier of 1000 ltr in an IBC container delivered for £0.17 per ltr and I get to keep the IBC at the end of the day, so will be ordering one as soon as I can make space for it, Rick

If you are breaking down water at the rate you are, then can you not harness the gas coming off and use to drive an internal combustion engine? or heat water?
OK the gas given off is extremely explosive, in the ratio ... not suprisingly, 2 of hydrogen, to 1 of oxygen. (H2O)

At that price it sounds very good I assume it comes with ISO 9001 certification as well.

I used to use rainwater as a base for making my own water for Tropical Fishkeeping and it was very acidic in Derby with a pH of between 5-5 to 6.5. I used to settle it in a tiered series of plasic 200 Litre closed Drums. For several years I had a free supply of Boiler Condensate and that was much better.

In the Aquatic Trade they sell RO water manufacturing devices but its expensive. I guess you want as close to Distilled Quality as you can get.

Well a great price and I assume the IBC container is one of those plastc things in a metal cage, great rain water storage.

I have to ask though, what on earth are you using such quantities of the stuff for?

It is not a regular/steady enough happening to use it direct and would not be wanting to try and store such a volatile gas, plus I would need yet another engine and alternator set up, Rick

Soft & Acidic !!

Boiler condensate is mildly acidic, enough to eat copper, would not have thought it would be good for fish, Rick

My Discus & Angels loved mildly acidic water as do most fish from the Amazon / South America. African stuff from the Lakes like it hard and Alkaline.
