Dashboard bulb

Hello all
Has anyone fitted a bulb in the dashboard on the mileage side before ?

If you have, could you give me a tip how to do it ? i am finding it

hard to get at it,to renew it.

I think I might have an old instrument cluster in the workshop, will have a look over the weekend and post a pic if I can find it, Rick

Found the cluster, memory dims but once looked at it I realised you probably meant how to get at the bulbs, I am assuming analogue gauges rather than digital, if so you need to remove the bezel around the instrument cluster (2 or 3 screws ) and lower the steering wheel as low as poss, then 4 screws holding the cluster in place 2 top near centre and 2 bottom at extreme ends then pull the cluster till you can get at the wire plugs and pull them all off (the speedo drive stays behind and is self locating on refit) all the bulbs are on twist and turn sockets small for oil brake headlight etc and larger for illumination, Rick

I will let you know how i get on with it.Ive got the MOT coming up.If he passes it
