Hi my 2000 nissan terrano has been stood for 4months. After getting it started with jump leads I noticed I have no ignition lights. Also rev counter, fuel gauge and temperature gauge are not working. I haven't had chance to try speedo. Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Thanks George

Sounds like faulty ignition switch

Loss of electrics

Could be a fuse or fuse connection am pretty sure that Japanese manufacturers fuse the ignition circuit the contacts tend to go green if left stood.

Would ignition switch still let me start it? I will check fuses later. Also it used to beep when started it no longer does this?

Windows, stereo and heaters/blowers still work and indicators

are the tailights and number plate working? I had something like that and it was broken wires in back bumper. only had 1tailight working

Same symptoms. Dirty contacts on the fuses, was my problem.

I will be checking fuses straight after work. Will update if I find anything.

Thanks
