Hi team

You'll have to excuse my not logging on, I have been away in norway freezing my n*&'s off!

This was the flight deck after 20hrs:

And the fore castle or mooring deck was covered also, even though it is a coved deck:
<a href="http://s639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/?action=view&current=IMAG0102.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/IMAG0102.jpg" border="0" alt="ocean snow"></a>
And here is where the WAFU's f$%^ed up as usual by running a fire hose over the side (to prevent the fire main from freezing) and made this:
<a href="http://s639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/?action=view&current=IMAG0101.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/IMAG0101.jpg" border="0" alt="ocean ice"></a>

Any way As some of yo may know, I was looking for some thing bigger, I did try and get a surf but was massivly seen off by flebay, and tried a local garage for a jeep but that was also a pack of w&^%ers.

So I sold the T2 (very sad to see her go) and got a disco,
<a href="http://s639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/?action=view&current=IMAG0073.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/IMAG0073.jpg" border="0" alt="disco"></a>
£1000, T&T, mint inside, mint underneath, 110K FSH, Some spares (Its the 300 TDI same as the ones on the ship, funy old thing...)
<a href="http://s639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/?action=view&current=IMAG0121.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/IMAG0121.jpg" border="0" alt="disco & a4 dog"></a>

and here the two motors at the min:
<a href="http://s639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/?action=view&current=IMAG0124.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i639.photobucket.com/albums/uu120/dsgrnmcm/IMAG0124.jpg" border="0" alt="disco & a4"></a>

Just bidding on a snorkel and will fit my CB when i get chance, Only snag is the oil pressure switch which i will swap today, but have to do the mother in laws to be glowplugs also.

But I will remain a faithful member of this ace club, and hope to see you before i go off for another 6 months.

Great photos, Dan! Looks bl**dy cold!

Nice Disco you've got there. Looks like a nice clean motor. Best of luck with it, mate :thumb2

um tezzer why would brass monkeys be looking for a welder?

you cant weld brass to iron...

ah..

but a monkey is a frame for holding cannon balls.

teh frame is made from BRASS and the balls IRON. so when cold they contract at diferent rates, when called enough the BALLS fall off the frame..

so cold enough to frezze the BALLS ( iron ) of a BRASS monkey ( frame )

simples......

see this place is educational aswell:D

nice looking disco, waxoyl on order?:augie

looked seriously cold up in Norway, and we think it was cold.....

ahoy there colin!

any time matey! I'm on leave for 2 weeks, but have to pop back to "wind ship" on wed (use tugs to spin the ship around so it is berthed on the opposite side, Port to Stbd etc.)

But other than that i'm off!

Yes wax oil is on order, although it has the same engine (300tdi) as the ships defenders, and the spares cage has a small hole in it...
