Hi I seem to have a leak at the thermostat housing
one of the bolts have damp around it sometimes
any Ideas do I try tightening the bolt or will it snap
or renew thermostat and seal
or leave it till I loose more coolant

I can't help you on the basis that you will soon be independent of us, get your own forum!!!! :lol

On a serious note buddy, renew the bolts and gasket and you should be fine, if you can't find a gasket without having to buy a kit etc then buy a sheet of gasket paper and draw round your current one and cut it out :thumb2

I had a small leak on the water pump.
I probably wouldn't of noticed if it wasn't for the damp patch of mud.
I just gave the bolts a tiny pinch up and hey presto job done.
Just give them a small pinch up.otherwise as banshee says

I agree totally, I had a massive argument the other day with a colleague at work who said I was "selfish" for saying that I didn't want to bring life into this sh*thole country.

Plus they are nightmares anyway
