Hello,long time no speak.

I want to fix a DAB Arial on roof of my Mistral .I wandered if anybody has run the

wire through the interior and could give me some tips?It looks like a long job dismantling

the lining. Your response is much appreciated.

Headlining comes out with not too much bother, just the case of carefully removing sun visors, grab handles, upper B Pillar plastics , interior light, maps lights etc without breaking any clips :thumb2

Then the roof lining itself is held in with a further 4 plastic clips

In terms of securing the antenna I would suggest using something like this;

Then use cable ties to secure :thumb2

As Banshee says the head lining isn't too bad to remove and wouldn't have to come completely out.
I've been looking to upgrade to a dab head unit and have this saved in my ebay watch list for a while.

What a lot of bother, I just stream it off my phone .
Mind you radio content is generally crap and repeated every hour :eek:

Wiring through roof lining.

Thank you Banshee
After your message I will have a go.

You've given me confidence to do it.

Also thanks eltyoo1 for your input.

Good man!!! I'm sure it will be a doddle for you

Make sure you've got;

Good Posi Head Screwdriver Selection

I find the smallest headed flathead precison screwdriver I have is very good for popping out the likes of the grab handle ends to expose the screws

Take your time and you wont break a thing :thumb2
