D22 high idle speed and going into derate

Got trouble with 53 reg D22, took it in p/ex with the clutch burnt out, Replaced the clutch and ran round in it for a few weeks with no issues, let it go out to a customer as a courtesy vehicle for a day and then it started idling at around 1500 rpm and when driving along it illuminates the engine managment light and goes into derate, to the point where it will only tick over, lift your foot off the throttle and back on again and it clears itself. Tried a potentiometer off another truck and still the same. It is not storing any fault codes, Anybody got any suggestions?? :nenau:nenau

To reset the idle speed allow engine to idle for 10 - 15 mins this will reset the ecu.
Check that the heat switch (low right hand side) is not on.
