Clicking almost always points to the Auto Hubs on the Terrano's, would be worth removing them and re-greasing them and making sure the brake ring isn't sticking.

CV joints, depending how good you are with spanners give your self a good 2 to 3 hours time wise.

Take some pictures of your front wheels please, don't do what I did and strip to find out they are non serviceable items, depending on what set up you have.

Also does the noise happen only on full lock 4wd?

Hi it's a 2002,how do you service the hubs? Do you undo the bolts or do you have to remove wheel?

No servicing is needed really on yours as it'll have fixed hubs fitted:thumbs the older models had auto free wheeling hubs which need a clean & regrease from time to time:augie

Would you bet money on that? I'm sure the crossover year is around that mark. :nenau

il have a look tomorrow?,I think it's nuts and dome?

if it is, and that would be about right for your year, then you have fixed hubs, if the clicking only happens in 4 wheel then one or both CVJ's have worn, if it happens in 2 wheel as well on full lock then simply stick some grease on the stops, Rick

Hubs

These are my hubs how can I service/check them?

I'd buy the whole shaft and be done with it.

I bought a cv only, stripped it down at ricks to find out the other inner boot was shagged too... Luckily Rick came to the rescue with his aladins cave of terrano parts :lol

Had we of had a shaft it would have taken about 30 mins instead of the hours for stripping, salvaging, adapting ect :doh

is that the whole shaft or just the CVJ even if just the CVJ it is cheap, prob too cheap, they are precision machined parts, that cheap prob from China, machining will be good (labour is dirt cheap) but steel will be crap, Rick
