Cutting the bumper

Has anyone cut the front bumper down on a 1999 T2 as I am thinking about doing this cause at the mo cant afford a steel one.

I have also noticed that are some brackets in the wheel arch that hold the bumper on, just wondering if they get bent offen??

Looks a bit odd with the arch liners showing though, nice even bit of cutting though.

They're not the arch liners Jim . I fitted thick rubber (Ifor Williams floor covering) to cover the metal that was showing to keep the mot man happy.
