So took another quick video. This is me pumping my clutch pedal. It squeaks like a boostard only after offroading... I tried spraying underneath with jetwash but still squeaks. Is there not something I can grease?

It can be heard from outside of the 4x4 quite loud!!!

Mine does that sometimes with the new bearing, I am going to spray some spray grease up there when I can be bothered. Easiest solution is to turn the radio up :lol

Lol thanks dude. The symptoms are weird. It used to do it before e new bearing took but only after off-roading through mud ect.

Give it a few days or usually a good spray with a jet wash cures this :nenau

I don't actually know why it goes away, but want to prevent it, feels almost a tad graunchy (perhaps a placebo of the noise) :doh

Ahh so there is a moving part underneath by the slave?

I know what it is and it a waste of time getting them . it the plastic bushes that go on the spring they crack up . I have just done mine about 2 months ago . because I had the same creaking noise and now it is coming back it the part number 46512m . its not the other ones that goes on the pedal it the one where the spring ends sit in so they are only about 4mm

There must be a cure for this, I'm gonna start today by greasing heavily underneath.

Then as Dave said if there are further bushes in the pedal perhaps big bunny could whip up another batch of stronger ones :naughty

I don't understand how it cures itself after a day or so, then returns after an off-roading sesh.

This makes me think mud or something has dried on a moving part? :nenau

Well, actually, mine isn't difficult to engage. Just graunchy and squeaky. Candy heard from outside too!!!

Ive had this for months, last week I set too and found it to be the slave cylinder rod coming through to the peddle. I oiled the shaft as I was pumping the clutch, poking the tip of the oil can through the rubber gator :lol its now rolls Royce standard :thumb2

If it does ill have to get a new one, but for now its like new. Lets see how long it lasts, thanks for the warning.
