Crankshaft Pulley Nut

Can anyone tell me if the Crankshaft Pulley Nut on a 1998 Nissan Terrano 2 2.7 Tdi is left or right hand thread please.
I did take it off some years ago but cannot remember which way it goes now and i don't want to feel stupid after tightening it for and hour thinking i'm undoing it.
