cooling system bleeding

hi all

just refitted my engine after fitting a new drive plate(flywheel) and am just wondering if there is a special way to bleed the water system as car running fine and not overheating and heater getting hot but there appears to be air in system i think still as u can hear it bubbling in heater sometimes and water level appears to rise in expansion bottle now and again
anyone got any ideas ??

I find when mine is up to running temp the water level in the expasion bottle does rise but this seems to happen with most engines :smile: It took a few days for all the air to come out of my system after replacing the water pump :roll: The only thing I can surgest is put your heaters onto hot & at full blower speed & take it for a run. It should sort it's self out after a few days like mine did put just keep an eye on the water level :smile:

Everything may be alright .You would have some serious problems if the water bottle level did not rise(everything that i know of on this planet
when Its hot expands So dont panick for the moment kind regards
