i get hungry with mine too

far as I am aware so is running veg oil and not paying the duty. have any of you paid your duty using it?

You only have to pay duty on veg oil or bio if you produce and use more than 2500ltrs per year, upto and under that duty is not owed

don't say that on hmrc, probably still have to declare it.

i'd double check if I was using it

oil

i'm not using it,just trying to find out if it will run on it,with the electric throttle and fuel temp sensor+seals without damaging it,but i have to get the car running right before i'll even try it

No need - the law is quite specific...you can use up to 2500 litres a year as Pete says, with no tax due. Over that and technically tax is due on ALL OF IT, not just the excess.

It was a simple solution to a very small problem as there are actually only a very small number of vehicles that can run on it so any loss to HMRC in revenue is tiny.

Strictly speaking you are supposed to retain receipts to evidence usage but the police have long since stopped looking at the issue.

bio diesel

i have 100 litres of methanol for sale on ebay ,but you have to collect
