I Did mention this a while ago:doh

My youngest Son Jacob has set him self a challenge of raising £5000 to buy 10 Sports Wheelchairs for his school, he has had to use a chair and crutches for the last 18months since damaging his ankle due to weak joints and ligaments. fortunately all his swimming and training for these swims has helped build him up and he is on his way to being back on his feet.

This summer Jacob will be taking part in the 'Epic swim series', 3 open water 500m swims in the Lake District.
Please follow his progress and support him all the way!
His goals are-
*Personal Achievement.
*To raise awareness of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome/Joint Hypermobility Syndrome.
*To raise money through sponsorship and donations for his school to buy a set of sports wheelchairs.

If you would like to sponsor him or make a donation it would be very much appreciated.

Please take a look at his facebook page and feel free to share.

Many Thanks Rick,

Just an Update

Jacobs Time finally came through this morning
"My time was 8 minutes and 33.95 seconds and I was 30th out of 86."

Not bad as 6 months ago he couldn't manage 2 lengths of the pool in one go.

Now he's after bettering his time in 3weeks at Ullswater:eek:

Thanks again for all your support:thumb2
