waste this time of year with out twin tank or heat exchangers or heated fuel filter it will wax up this time of year so be careful with wvo:thumbs

Totally agree with this statement, mines still running 100% svo with heat exchanger and twin tank when veg gets to 60 degrees c in exchanger turn over to svo. Just remember to turn back to diesel afew miles before stopping. as in this cold weather it wont like starting on cold veg,

Thanks again Geoff, cheers Russell

Trouble is I need to suss out somewhere to store the damn stuff as I don't want to lose the free collection.

On a similar note, I store rainwater in two IBC's ie 1000 litre tanks.
We dug huge holes to bury them in the garden, and put decking over them. ( well away from the house though).
Part of my automatic garden watering system and pond top up, using an old car battery, a solar panel and a reconditioned boat water pump.

I guess you could store waste oil in similar style. Recycled IBC 's only cost around £30

Cleaning an underground tank could be a pain though, and you would need a suitable pump, but the finished product could be stored there.
Just a thought.

We get our bio in 1000 l IBC . Easy to pump from or simply poor it out of a tap.
I use about a tank a week say 60 litres. So every three months or so get a refill. That's a saving of over 400 quid every 3 or 4 months :sly
Floats my boat :clap
