Clutch............?

Maverick running fine, but still sounds an effort in 5th!(See previous thread)

At the roondeboot yesterday, stationary at junction and could not get it out of neutral into any gear! After a few minutes of gentle persuasion, it just glided in as normal. Noticed a horrible 'burning' smell but otherwise drove as good as normal! Any advice would be appreciated. The Clutch seems to be ok, no obvious problems!
