Im still having issues with gear selection. I do have something to check this weekend but if its not the issue id like to be ready for a clutch swap.
More than likely im going to do engine out method but got a few questions.
Can I drop the front diff and then carry on driving about in 2wd? This might make it easier for me to spread the work over some days incase I need the Mav for work
Once the engine is out will the gearbox need to be supported or is that only needed when swapping clutch with engine in?
What is a good brand of clutch to use? Quite a wide price band, is it acase of you get what you pay for?
Ive seen you can put a 3.0 clutch in but may need the flywheel to be skimmed. If I can find somewhere local that does it I may consider the upgrade. But if I were to buy a 3.0 clutch kit would the release bearing still be the same as the 2.7 kit or is the release bearing specific to the clutch plate?
