Morning, all I noticed today that in 4th when speeding up my terrano 2 r reg 2.7 sound like it was reving a little more than it was moving!! if its the start of a clutch dying will it get worst quickly ? it only happens in 4th. is a replacement clutch a high cost job as nothing I could do???

OK do the standard clutch test, select 5th hand brake on hard rev to full revs, drop clutch, I mean drop not gradual release, it should stall engine in less than 3 seconds if it slows engine then speed increases clutch is dead, Rick

Just a side note to what Rick has said just make sure nothing is in front of you when you do it:thumb2
