I ordered the same item from (I think) the same supplier a few good months ago, did not fit. I had to sand down the outside just a little bit.

Smear a little grease on too, mines lasted better with the grease.

It is certainly a common fault on most vehicles.

Yes, he does say it's a tight fit right enough. I was just going to replace the white bush at a couple of quid, but as the last one only lasted a couple of months I think more robust replacement is in order. It gets a lot of good feedback so I'm pretty comfortable with ordering it. The original design is pretty crap :nenau

I use the same bush and pin. I found it easier to remove the pedal to fit the bush

Well, it's fitted. What a pain in the ass though! The bush is slightly over-sized, so needs driven into place with a few taps. It's very easy to deform the bush though, so be careful!!! I ended up with the pin not fitting properly, and had to remove both pin and bush to true it up again

Should be a better job than that crap plastic bush, but it's sure as hell not £14.99 worth of kit. £4.99 maybe. If I'd known it was this basic I'd have fettled something better from odds and sods I have in the shed :doh
