I've never quite understood where/what this is and does and when it fails what symptoms are made noticable that you know its failed :nenau

My pedal would not come all the way up without a little help from my foot, the bush is in the pedal mech and wears. The original is made of plastic and this wears away, I got a bronze one from a member on here, had no issues since fitting it.

Was it big bunny ?

Was it big bunny ?

No, it was a guy called jimE and his friend made them, I made one from a push bike brake part, which worked fine, but I thought I would get the bronze one from Jim's mate.

I used a couple of these, just cut the ends off job done, these are old school plugs much thicker & stronger than most modern ones today, about 6mm o/s shaft dia if I remember right. There was someone selling a kit on the bay not so long ago, think it included a new steel pivot pin as well ?

Wasn't someone using the internals of Biro pens as well at some point :nenau

The brass bush that bigbunny was producing resolved mine perfectly. It totally changed the feel of the clutch pedal. Only thing it needed after fitting was a squirt of spray grease.

Are they still available? My clutch pedal needs some persuasion to come up as well...

There is someone on ebay supplying them for a tenner.

Just seen madmarks post lol, great minds and all that.
