My guess is that at a fiver a time and the fiddly nature of making them it was just not worth his while, Rick

Depends if hes got cnc with bar feed would be able to knock 100 off in no time.We just got rid of our cnc lathe:doh

Nothing to do with being fiddly, he just doesn't want to make any more. He only made a few as I needed one for my Maverick.

It's a pity he couldn't make one last batch and sell them to the club, we would have a good supply for years to come.
I have now forgotten how annoying my sticking clutch pedal was :)

There was plenty of opportunity for people to order them at the time. Didn't seem a lot of interest to be honest so no point wasting time making something that people didn't want. I am sure there are other guys here with a lathe who could churn them out for club members. Isn't there???

Ah, but you could feel the love he put into them there bushes Jim...;)

I doubt if my new one will wear out like the old plastic one did, just glad I got one when I did Jim.

Maybe a bulk order of 100 would tempt him into making some more, however i wouldn't like to say.

Been thinking though, maybe they should be plastic as they are sacrificial and designed to wear rather than other bits wearing out aren't they?
Plastic would probably be quicker for someone to machine wouldn't it?

Not sure, may just be that plastic is cheaper, it's a pivot joint so should be able to cope with a life time of use, I have never had another vehicle that had the sticky pedal syndrome
