Clutch Flexible Pipe

Hi, I need to change the leaking flexi pipe on my 2.7tdi, I have bought the new pipe and bolt/washer packs but find that the connecting block on my terrano appears to be part of the flexi, I know there is normally a clip that holds the flexi in, but not on mine, it appears to be one piece, any ideas please?

I just did away with the damper, and still works ok...
