Has anyone on here removed the damper pipe that runs to back of car.if so do you remember what thread bolt you used.want to remove mine but dont want to spend 1/2 day looking for a bolt.

take pipe out of block or cylinder, fit a ball bearing in hole and replace pipe, pipe is now sealed, like a noddy i bought a new pipe, never new about the ball till i joined here, :doh

Cooh theres good idea. just got to find right size ball bearing.

Odd... I was thinking about doing the very same thing (block off that pipe) so guess I will be looking for a ball bearing or a bolt !!!
 
blanked mine off a few weeks ago when i changed the clutch hose couldnt find a ball bearing so used a air pipe stop end that i had think it was 10or 12mm but fine thread
